This Chinchero manta shows the pattern called "queswa" which has many meanings related to twining-- the twining of plants and the intertwining of people and relationships. (Franquemont and Franquemont.)
The manta also shows the rich texture of the "eye"
pattern woven along the four edges of the piece.
