Nilda honors the complete process of weaving which involves raising and caring for the animals that provide wool, shearing the animals, spinning, dyeing, plying together two strands of yarn and finally weaving. Since her childhood days of shepherding, Nilda enjoys the sheep who graze in and around Chinchero.
